旅行の総コストは2万2千ドルだった。その大部分は旅行前にしたひと月のコンサル仕事で賄えた。ひと月のコンサル仕事の見返りに1年間旅行ができるなんてクレージーに思える。そして予算を特に抑えたわけでもなかった。同じことをずっと安くやっている人たちにたくさん出会った。
